| Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Celtics 12-time All-Star forward Kevin Garnett made his return to the court Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers after missing nearly a month resting a sore right knee. It was announced Garnett would take a permanent hiatus from game action on December 30 in hopes of keeping the knee fresh over the long season. He last appeared in a game December 28 and only started to rehab and strengthen the knee 11 days ago. In 29 games this season, Garnett is averaging 15. |
