Los Angeles Clippers 2010 Draft Preview
Basketball Betting Lines
06/21/2010 -
(Sportsbook Betting Lines) - A traditional NBA doormat, the Los Angeles Clippers will
in essence be getting a pair of top 10 picks in this year's draft.
The 6-foot-10, 250-pound Blake Griffin, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2009
draft, missed his entire rookie season with a stress fracture in his left knee
and will be back to team with All-Star center Chris Kaman to give the Clips
an outstanding 4-5 combination.
The team would love to fill out that front line with a top-tier small forward
this offseason. With Wake Forest's Al-Farouq Aminu likely off the board by No.
8 and LeBron James just a pipe-dream, the Clippers are likely to reach for
Nevada's Luke Babbitt, a high-energy player with some offensive skill.
Players under contract: G Baron Davis; G Eric Gordon; F Blake Griffin; C
DeAndre Jordan; C Chris Kaman
Free agents: G Steve Blake (unrestricted); G Bobby Brown (restricted);
F Rasual Butler (unrestricted); G Mardy Collins (restricted); F Drew Gooden
(unrestricted); F Steve Novak; F Travis Outlaw; C Brian Skinner; F Craig Smith
Draft picks: 1st round (8th overall); 2nd round (54th overall)
