However, agent Manuel Garcia Quilon commented: "We have not received any offers from any club. "Benitez's aim is to remain at Liverpool and try to help the team improve with new owners. He is under contract and his wish is to remain at Liverpool. "He has a meeting with the chairman this week and from what I can see he wants to continue at Liverpool. "He needs to know what the plans are for the future, for investment into players at the club. That is going to be important." Benitez is under contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2014, but is being strongly tipped to leave if he is not handed a major transfer budget to bolster his under-performing squad.
